Nina Davis offers writing, editing, and marketing communications services. Current and former clients include AlwaysOn, the Content Bureau, Aesthetic Scientist for DoCoMo USA Labs, Technorati, and SpikeSource. Prior activities have ranged from content creation projects for social media companies; helping launch WiFinder.com at DEMOmobile 2001; leading the extensively covered PR launch of MetaMarkets.com as its VP Communications; building business press relationships for Blanc & Otus PR; project-managing the initiation of a $16 million biometrics technology and fab capacity transfer by Philips N.V.; and helping launch an international standards body. Nina was Associate Editor at Red Herring magazine from 19941996, where she managed and edited The Red Herring Guide to the Digital Universe (Warner, 1996). She also edited the first edition of Michael and Anthony Perkins’s business best-seller The Internet Bubble (HarperCollins, 1999). Nina is a board member of Berkeley’s Hillside Club and was a founding member of women’s tech networking group GraceNet. She heartily endorses the Shotgun Players, Sweet Adeline Bakeshop, and Cacao Sampaka. Nina has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Netherlands, and Paris. |
